Battle of the Champs Goes to Miami
By: Matt Blue
The Miami HEAT left no doubt in this one as they completely dismantled the DIrkless Mavs 110-95. The game was never even as close as the final score. LeBron James led the HEAT with 24 points while Wade put on a show with some nifty passes. Chris Bosh also added 17 points.
The play of the game took place in the first half when D Wade threw a full court touchdown pass to LeBron James who caught the ball while surrounded by two defenders and then he abruptly capped off the play with an easy layup. It was a terrific play by two extraordinary athletes.
Dwyane Wade and LeBron James both sat out the entire 4th quarter while their team enjoyed a 36 point lead. The HEAT’s defense was also very dominant and the HEAT did a much better job cleaning up the boards against Dallas.
The HEAT will look to carry their swagger and mojo back to Miami for a showdown against apromising Utah team. Hopefully, they will be able to carry these excellent 48 minute efforts to their upcoming games.
MVP: LeBron James
He was just on another level last night.
Tough Night: Vince Carter
Carter had a very rough game offensively. He struggled knocking
down wide open shots.
Lights Out: Shane Battier
Battier had his ususal shooting stroke going for him on this night.
Stat of the Game: LeBron James has scored at least 20 points in all 23 games this season.
This is the longest streak to start a seasons since Karl Malone’s 24 in a row opening the 1989-90 season.
