About the Website

The concept that was simply created in January of 2008 as The HEAT Blog. Is now the fully functional website Crank Up The HEAT. We bring to you the most recent news and rumors on the Miami HEAT and the NBA. The website was created in retrospect to the 2007-2008 Miami HEAT campaign in which they were 15-67. For the first 2 years, we were just simply a blog written by one writer. Now, we are a Website that will soon begin to add news from around the NBA. Crank Up The HEAT will still continue the tradition of “The Heat Blog” and bring you the most up-to-date news and rumors on the Miami Heat as well as commentaries about the team.

The project to turn a basic blog into a fully functional website began in the summer of 2009. Since then, we have been working day and night to create a website fully functional and easy to use.  The more professional look gives this new website the respect it deserves among the great Miami HEAT websites. Not just simply a blog anymore, Crank Up The HEAT has styled it’s design to the ones of newspapers and magazines.
